Ukulele Group Lessons
The Baritone Ukulele is a wonderfully versatile instrument.
The chords and strumming patterns you will learn can be used to play along with a multitude of songs. The same skills can also be applied as a stepping stone into the world of playing guitar.

At Neufeld Music Studio we offer 3 tracks of ukulele sessions.
All of our ukulele sessions focus on the baritone ukulele,
which is most similar to guitar.

We are located in Mitchell, Manitoba, 2 miles South of Highway 52.

1) BEGINNER BARITONE UKULELE (ages 8 and up)
(offered 3 times per year: Fall, Winter, Spring)

Wednesday's 6:00 - 6:45
Price: $125 (does not include Ukulele)

The beginner 6 week sessions are geared for the complete beginner. No musical or ukulele background experience is necessary.
In the beginner sessions we learn 4 - 5 basic chords, and 2 - 3 beginner strumming patterns. After the 6 week beginner session, the student will be able to play along with all of the songs taught during the sessions, and many more songs that use the same chord progressions and strumming patterns.

2) LEVEL 2 - BARITONE UKULELE (Ages 8 and up)
(offered 3 times per year: Fall, Winter, Spring)

The Level 2 ukulele sessions are for those who have completed the beginner sessions, or for those who already have a basic knowledge of ukulele / guitar chords and strumming patterns. In the intermediate ukulele sessions we add another set of chords to the chords learned in the beginner session. We also learn a few more strumming patterns and songs. Students will receive a brief introduction to chord charts. If you participated in the beginner sessions, you will use the same ukulele. Baritone ukuleles are available for purchase upon request.

3) ADULT BARITONE UKULELE

Spring Session 2024 May 14 - June 18
Tuesday's 6:00 - 6:45
Offered once per year in spring.
The adult beginner ukulele sessions are similar to the beginner ukulele sessions. The pace and type of songs used during the sessions is geared towards those in attendance.
Price: $125 (does not include Ukulele)
